Associates also munched their way through our chocolate box and dressed to impress with our casual days, all of which helped to raise over £1200!
Operation Christmas Child
Our Swagelok Team have been working hard creating boxes and getting donations for Operation Christmas Child. If you are not familiar with the scheme, people are invited to fill a medium-sized shoebox with gifts that will then be sent to children in need anywhere around the globe. The gifts can include toys, clothing, school supplies and non-liquid personal hygiene items.
Headed by our Internal Account Advisors Allison Waywell, Laura Case, Lisa Bell and Sara Lewis we created sixteen Christmas boxes for the children.
If you would like to get involved visit Operation Christmas Child's Website for further information.
In 2014 we donated over £3,500 to 17 different charities. To enable us to have a greater impact with the money we raise, in 2015 our associates selected 3 charitable organisations for us to support
In 2015 year we donated over £1600 to each charity. Across 2016 we donated over £7295 to these organisations as well as charities supported by our customers and associates.
The money donated is raised by associates from our chocolate box, dress down days and raffles as well as generous contributions from our MD Jon Hall.
